Response to Proposed Accessibility Standard on Information and Communications

On April 30th, 2019, the Accessibility Advisory Council released a Discussion Paper on their recommendations for an Information and Communications Standard. They held a single public consultation in Winnipeg on May 14th to further inform and discuss with community members. Comment and feedback on the proposed standard were invited up until June 30th, 2019 as per the requirements set out in the AMA. Barrier-Free Manitoba is pleased to submit the following comments and feedback as part of that process.
