Louise Falconer, a 84 year old former Manitoban who helped handle BFM's Twitter account, passed away on the morning of April 19, 2014. She had had no previous experience with social media before she volunteered to help out but she picked it up quickly and made important contributions behind the scenes to BFM's efforts.
The mother of Patrick Falconer, the consultant to Barrier-Free Manitoba over the last 5+ years, Louise also shared the commitment to addressing social justice and human rights issues with the many individuals and organizations that have championed the cause of accessibility-rights legislation.
