Province commits to modernize supports for persons with severe and prolonged disabilities

Yesterday's Speech from the Throne included a wide range of significant new commitments but very few specifically related to disabilities. The one important disabiilty-specific commitment was:
- We will modernize our supports to persons who face employment disadvantages due to severe and prolonged disabilities.
This is very good news though we were hoping for much more. Clearly, there is a lot of work ahead for Disability Matters: Vote 2016.
