'Next Generation' Coalition Discussion Documents Posted for Comment

On Wednesday, March 13th Barrier-Free Manitoba hosted a third meeting among disability stakeholders to dicuss options for collective action to work to ensure the effective implementation of the pending accessibility-rights legislation.
Barrier-Free tabled two documents that served as the main basis for discussion at the meeting.
Selected Strategic Design Issues and Options (Word / PDF): As the title implies, this document set out eight basic issues that are key to the overall design of a 'next generation' coalition. The documents presents both options and working recommendations for each of these issues.
Proposed Foundations for the ‘New Coalition’ (Word / PDF): This document set out a proposed mission, set of values, principles for effective implementation and a range of other foundational elements.
