Barrier Free Manitoba

The Independent Living Resource Centre (ILRC), in conjunctionlwith Barrier-Free Manitoba, has launched an Access Together contest that will run from July 1 to September 30 for teams of two with a grand prize of two iPads.

The Rules

1. Participants will review community business in Manitoba in teams of two.

2, Teams must enter the business being assessed and complete two fields of the assessment (e.g., senior and mobility-related disability)

3. All entries must be entered into Access Together then emailed to Doug Locckhart (dougl@ilrc.mb.ca) by the September 30th deadline.

4. Teams of two can have others supporting them with entries on Access Together but on;y registered team memers can make submissions.

5. There is no cost associated with registering or training.

6. Winners will be announced October 5th at ILRC.

Optional Training

The ILRC is also offering training for persons wanting to support in using Access Together. Three optional workshops have been scheduled for Tuesday, June 26th:

1:00 to 2:30 pm

3 :00 to 4:30 pm

5:30 to 7:00 pm
