The Pastoral Care Team of the United Church in Meadowood invites you to join them as they welcome Barrier-Free Manitoba to explore the role of faith communities in respect to accessibility for all within & beyond their walls.
Themes to be explored include:
- What are the implications of the push for provincial accessibility-rights legislation for faith communities in Manitoba?
- What can faith communities learn from similar legislative experiences in Ontario?
- What is the moral and theological imperative of faith communities in respect to accessibility legislation?
