Accessibility Work Wins Pro Bono Award

On January 25, 2019, Andrew Buck, Kathleen McCandless and David Silver of Pitblado LLP were presented the Pro Bono Award by the Manitoba Bar Association.

Kathleen McCandless and Andrew Buck were recognized for the comprehensive review they prepared on behalf of Barrier Free Manitoba related to information and communication accessibility issues. David Silver was recognized for his work filing an appeal with the Tax Court of Canada challenging eligibility requirements for the Disability Tax Credit on behalf of a client with a mental health disability.
