I have been working in disability and advocacy services for 30 years. I have colleagues in Manitoba, and have worked with them here in Alberta, as well as in Manitoba. Manitoba is rightly known for progressive thinking and action where disability is concerned. The proposals of Barrier Free Manitoba and the direction they are proposing are consistent with that reputation. I hope that your government acts on them.
